Goldsmiths University BA Fine Art 2012-2015

London College of Communication Foundation Diploma in photography. 

Holly Hunter (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and facilitator based in Margate, Kent. Her work involves film, writing, sound, performance and workshops. 

Their interests include ecology, queer embodiment, science fiction, murky waters and sneaky creatures. She is committed to collaborative practices, non-hierarchal learning space and the importance of supportive community as a means of radical growth and resistance. 

In 2016 after graduating from Goldsmiths she was awarded the Art School Alliance residency at HFBK university in Hamburg where they spent a year. She is a founding member of a squat collective called Clear Spirit that was active in London between Summer 2017 - Winter 2018, during which they founded the Multi Species Research Group, for which she now produces and edits the M.S.R.G. journal and facilitates regular meetings. 

In 2019 they relocated to Margate to be an associate artist at Open School East. She is developing a number of workshop tools and open source skill sharing frameworks on the theme of Shapeshifting for Earthly Survival.
 
Their film, text and installation works have been exhibited locally and internationally.
