The sound is doing something different now

This work is informed by research into mythological sea monsters, oceanic noise pollution, the Shoeburyness military testing site, shipping routes, and a specific lamppost design that surrounds the Margate Harbour.

Using field recordings, phosphorescent pigments, text, and sculptural elements, the work proposes an alternative reality in which noise pollution is causing dramatic mutations in the flora, fauna and architecture of Thanet.
